Dr. Grode was raised in Boise, Idaho. He obtained his undergraduate degree in exercise science from the University of Montana. In 2015, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry, graduating summa cum laude. Honoring his achievements, he was awarded the Honsa Award for clinical excellence and professionalism. He was also elected to membership in the dental honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Jesuit honor society Alpha Sigma Nu signifying high character and academic achievement. Upon graduation, Dr. Grode completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Pocatello, ID.
For five years, Dr. Grode practiced general dentistry in Omaha at a community health center as part of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program. During this time, he vigorously pursued further education to better serve his patients and attained Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. Ultimately, his interest in endodontic treatment compelled him to pursue specialty training.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center provided Dr. Grode with advanced training in endodontic diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, complex restorative procedures, as well as apical microsurgery. Additionally, Dr. Grode presented his postgraduate research at the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Grode has fostered a passion for helping patients retain their natural dentition and providing relief from dental pain. He aims to make patients feel comfortable and is dedicated to the highest quality.
Apart from clinical practice, Dr. Grode enjoys spending time with his wife and son, serving in his local church, running, college wresting, and caring for a variety of houseplants. Now, Dr. Grode is excited to be a part of Advanced Endodontic Therapy and enjoy “the good life” of Omaha.
